Denver rocker Jenny Shawhan is a captivating live performer possessing an original style that resembles an edgy Grace Potter and a sweet Tedeschi Trucks.

No matter the genre, Jenny has always been drawn to powerful and passionate female voices- Ann Wilson, Melissa Etheridge, Martina McBride, Ashley Cleveland, Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton, Aretha, Lady Gaga - to name a few. Growing up on country radio (Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire) and old gospel records (Sandy Patti and The Carpenters) she now loves so much music, especially rock and Americana from Civil Wars to Bon Jovi, Chris Stapleton and P!nk to Fleetwood Mac.

When Jenny performs, she wants the audience to have fun, be inspired, feel included, and get a sense of that fearless energy that we all have inside of us.
Most of the songs she writes are directly from her life and they are therapy for her - the words she needs to hear. She says, "I know that empowerment and confidence comes from being willing to try. And by telling our stories. So I am here to share my stories, my life, my voice - what I've been given - with you."

Jenny’s notable concerts include singing at the Soiled Dove with Colorado’s Hazel Miller, opening for Big Head Todd at the 2016 Super Bowl Parade with band Funkiphino, collaborating with Austin Young at Elevation Celebration 2018, and performing the National Anthem at the USPA Polo Event in Aspen Valley, August2019. She has been featured live on KSKE FM Radio and on the podcast “MiddleClass Rock Star” hosted by Andy Sydow, September 2019.
