Jay Rydel is an artist, songwriter, and producer born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. For ten years now he has called Colorado his second home while unraveling his pop/r&b project. Inspiration from Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, D’angelo, Bruno Mars, Allen Stone, and Anderson .Paak among others influence his sound. He has been an independent artist managing a capella groups, bands, and his solo project for more than 10 years. 

Living in Denver, Colorado he plays in bands, teaches, DJs, and performs solo. In recent years he has managed the CU Buffoons a cappella group, cofounded an original funk rock group Dogs Got Flavor, and performed in Colorado’s top entertainment companies and indie bands. Jay currently works with On Cue Entertainment, Diamond Empire Band, Trading Post Production, Alpine Music Connection, and Elite DJ Entertainment. Recent groups include Moments Notice Entertainment, Hipster Mama Productions, Kory Brunson Band, and Funkiphino.
