The Country Music Project is an eclectic mix of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds who all share one thing in common – a undeniable love of music!

TCMP formed in the summer of 2009 when Michael Rice (vocals/guitars/keyboards) and Heather Hanson (banjo /guitar /mandolin) went in search of musicians to start a country band. Inspired by the inventive sounds of today’s modern country artists, they looked for players who embraced the traditional sounds but had the desire to perform today’s modern country.
