TRIPLE NICKEL is a high energy 5-piece Colorado-based ensemble that has been performing Top 40 Country with an exciting blend of Classic Rock & Roll for over 16 years. The collection of seasoned entertainers consists of Lee Gladney on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Ed Schifferns on lead guitar, Ashley Gill on bass guitar and vocals, Ed Jordan on keyboards and vocals, and Billy Small on percussion.
TRIPLE NICKEL has established itself as one of the hottest bands of its kind in Colorado, after entertaining audiences at nightclubs, concerts, dances, weddings, company parties, and several other special events for many years. Recent appearances include the Colorado State Fair, Copper Mountain Resorts, the Pueblo Stomp On, and the Meeker Range Call Celebration, Colorado’s oldest annual rodeo. Hundreds of engagements throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Michigan translate into thousands of successful performance hours for TRIPLE NICKEL. TRIPLE NICKEL has shared the spotlight with names such as Daryl Worley, Emerson Drive, Brian White, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Mark Chestnut.
TRIPLE NICKEL performs selections from the current and recent Top 40 Country charts reflecting such artists as George Strait, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Lonestar, Big and Rich, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, and Gary Allen. In addition, many popular hits of the past are also included during the performance, including music by Lynyrd Skynrd, the Commodores, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Matchbox 20, Wilson Pickett, and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. TRIPLE NICKEL also performs a number of original songs, released January 2006 on their self-titled debut CD. This versatility and diversity of musical selections is sure to please any audience.
