(Denver, CO) The winter
of 1975 found Kent Brown, Big Hymie Smith, and Handsome Victor De
Bauche appearing in a cheesy, low-rent trampoline act, The Flying
Zucchini Brothers. From the dingy industrial cities in the northeast
to seedy tank towns of the great plains, "the Brothers" entertained
hundreds.
Their success lasted until sometime in the late 1980's.
The popularity of M.T.V. And the realization that they were too fat
and old, forced the boys to retire the act.
Pointing their rusting
Buick Electra and crappy Air-Stream trailer West, the ex-Zucchini
Bros. Wandered aimlessly, until the fateful night of April 1st,1989.
A two car wreck in Denver brought them together with Kris Farris,
a talented, sophisticated, professional saxophone player.
Too dumb
to have auto insurance, and too broke to do anything else, the foursome
decided to start a band. Realizing that they were all baseball fans,
and that one stupid name was as good as another, they named the band
in honor of legendary home-run hitter, Henry Aaron.
The music speaks
for itself.
The dozens of fans speak for themselves. THE HAMMERIN" HANKS...
The rest,as they say, is history
