Danny Brymer was born on January 18, 1987 in Pine Bluff, AR, but spent most of his childhood in New Braunfels, TX. He grew to love music at an early age, and first picked up the guitar at age twelve. Having grown a passion for music, he pursued a degree in Guitar Performance at Colorado Christian University in Denver, CO. There, he studied jazz and classical guitar under renowned guitarist Daniel Gorklo, aka Danny Masters. From 2007-2009, he played guitar, composed, and handled vocal and lyrical duties for the Denver based progressive rock band, Strativarium, known for their bizarre, complex music. They released a self titled 3-song EP in 2008. He played guitar for the Colorado Christian University Big Band Jazz Ensemble where he was also section leader for the rhythm section. Since graduating, he has relocated to New Braunfels and is currently teaching and performing locally and in surrounding areas. He plays guitar and writes music for the New Braunfels area based jazz group, the 78's Jazz Combo. He is well versed in rock, jazz, and classical and has been active in all three worlds of music. He is also an avid composer, completing the allegorical choral work, Redemptor Lux Lucis in 2008 and just completed his ambitious work, Sonata for Piano and Viola early in 2011. He is happily married to Heidi Brymer, a very talented pianist, violinist, and violist, who is an active teacher and performer as well.
