Two Guitars Telling A Story is a guitar duet. Imagine Chet Atkins and his fingerstyle
tunes combined with Eric Clapton and his sweet lead guitar joining together; this is our music. We fill the evening with guitar music, no singing, just guitars.
"Guy and Steve have captivated our members at Red Rocks Country Club with their strings. Their musicianship is unparalleled and it will instantly put your event or venue in a league of its own. Quite honestly, Two Guitars Telling A Story is a world class experience, unlike anything else you will experience in Denver. " - General Manager, Red Rocks Country Club
"I hear many bands as the head bartender at Zink Kitchen + Bar, Doubletree by Hilton, Denver Tech Center, and your duo "gets it"; perfect supportive music, not too loud and guests love to spend the evening relaxing to your soothing acoustic guitar music."
Guy Steagall - Guy grew up playing music on the North Side of Chicago, IL. In the 80’s he toured nationally, either playing with or sharing concert stages with Robert Palmer, Dave Mason, Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen, Leon Russell, The Grass Roots, Leo Kottke, Chuck Berry, Leslie Gore, Tommy James and The Shondels, and many more. In a 1982 music review, Variety Magazine said: “Steagall plays the 6 string lead guitar… and shows impressive technique in high speed picking… Indefatigable, pours it on throughout.”
Steve Blechschmidt - Steve started playing guitar twelve years ago because of a promise to his daughter ~ “I’ll learn to play guitar if you continue your piano lessons.” A guitar has never been far from Steve’s side throughout those years. His passion for fingerstyle guitar, music theory, song writing, and performing is daunting.
